Spring season is almost over, and the summer line-up has pretty much been finalized!
Below is a list of the shows I plan to follow. The list is already looking pretty long now, but I think it'll get even longer once the season actually starts!
So many shows, so little time~
This seems like another cute shoujo, romance themed show, similar to Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and Kimi ni Todoke. It'll be a nice anime to cool off to during the summer!
Bakumatsu Rock
I'm not sure what I'm expecting, but lots of Bakumatsu and some rock n' roll?
Barakamon
I'm really looking forward to this show! The character designs are so cute and nothing could go wrong with slice of life...right?
Free! Eternal Summer
I am ready for the muscles feast. Naked gay swimmers are now a staple of summer!
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
These romantic comedy shounen shows can be a hit or miss. Hopefully this will bring some good character development and plot!
Glasslip
I'm really looking forward to seeing pretty glass animation! But I'm also very worried when it comes down to a group of high school students. There are too many shows to list that have a similar cast of characters with a promising plot, but end up butchering the show due to pacing and or poor character development. Let's hope Glasslip will pull through!
Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus
After a somewhat crazy season 2, Kuroshitsuji will be going back to follow the manga. I'm hoping the story will be more logical than the previous seasons. But either way, I will be glad to see Sebastien and Ciel on my screen!
Nobunaga Concerto
Another interesting premise with...time travel. This trope is very dangerous, as there are often many holes and non sequitur conclusions. Depending on the length of the anime, Nobunaga Concerto could be a hit or miss. I hope the studio finds an enjoyable pacing!
Rail Wars!
TRAINS!!! That is all I have to say. I mean, who doesn't love trains?!
Re: Hamatora
The first season was very edgy and...modern? I'm still not sure if I enjoyed the show or not. The fight sequences were pretty cool, but the story as a whole felt somewhat unstable. Ok, I guess I liked it...I mean, how can you not like characters with names like Art, Nice, and Birthday?
Shirogane no Ishi Argevollen
Another mecha anime...sigh. The past couple of seasons' mecha shows were all somewhat of a let-down. To be honest, I'm not really sure what to expect from mecha shows, but I would like some breathtaking animation.
Sword Art Online II
Hype hype hype! Season 1 was interesting, but somewhat overrated, in my opinion. I'm hoping the characters in season 2 will bring more to the table!
Tokyo ESP
So... the description talks about "flying penguin" and "fish flying in the air..."
And that panda...I don't suppose it would hurt to give one episode a shot!
Tokyo Ghoul
I've never really watched a horror themed anime, because I'm scared of almost everything, but I think I'll give this a shot. Studio Pierrot did several shows that I enjoyed, so I'm willing to take the risk!
Zankyou no Terror
Two boys set off a massive terrorist bombing in Tokyo and they want to play a game with the entire nation of Japan at stake.
Greetings and welcome...I want to play a game~ @v@
