Diamond no Ace 35

Continuing the game against Yakushi High. Furuya's the starting pitcher~

Miyuki's awesome catch...I need to stop being lazy and start making gifs!

Ohhh Furuya~~ so cool!!

Sawamura on! The beginning of the pitcher rotation.

Ahh our charismatic (and idiotic) first year southpaw...

Raichi (Yakushi High) seems to be impressed!

High tension!!!

Nice pitch, Sawamura!!! But Miyuki wasn't too happy...

What an intimidating aura!!

I love how much this anime emphasizes the whole team work idea. Every time Sawamura pitches, he does his whole "I'm relying on y'all" speech. He's such an embarrassing kouhai ><

Listening to Miyuki-san and being a dork~

Like father like son - winku winku communication~
But they've figured out that Sawamura has a moving pitch.

Raichi is quite the beast!

But Sawamura was able to shut Raichi out! Seidoooooo!!!!! Lol @ the senpais.

Sawamura and his over the top celebrations. Even Raichi can't handle.

No respect for the senpais! Or maybe too much respect? Poor Haruichi...

3rd inning, Seido batting up next.

Yakushi switches pitchers: the ace, Sanada!!

Episode 35 was pretty fun to watch. By shutting out Raichi, we can see that Sawamura is definitely growing as a pitcher. Furuya is also evolving, batting a run and playing in the outfield. Miyuki's presence on the team is crucial, as he is not only the catcher, but also a mastermind strategist who was able to use Sawamura's pitches to defeat Raichi's batting.
The next episode seems like another intense one...the snarky ace of Yakushi is coming onto the mound!!
